Autopsy Results Reveal Possible Drug Reaction as Cause of Mohbad's Death

The long-awaited autopsy report on the late singer Mohbad has finally been released, providing some insight into the circumstances surrounding his untimely demise. According to TheCable Lifestyle, the autopsy was conducted at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) and revealed that Mohbad's death may have been caused by a drug reaction.

The autopsy report showed that samples of Mohbad's gastric content, blood, bone marrow, liver, kidney, and lung were retrieved for toxicology testing. While the anatomical and pathological findings revealed an injury on his right forearm and moderate to severe decomposition of his body, no significant gross findings could be attributed to his death.

However, the toxicology report revealed the presence of Diphenhydramine, an anti-histamine commonly used to treat allergies, stomach problems, colds, and anxiety. Although the concentration of the drug was not in a fatal or lethal range, the report suggests that a drug reaction could have contributed to Mohbad's death.

It is worth noting that Mohbad's body was exhumed eight days after burial, and the autopsy revealed moderate to marked decomposition of his organs. The report highlights the possibility of a drug reaction as the cause of death, although further investigation is needed to confirm this.
