2019 election: Atiku picks peter obi as running mate.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar,
has picked the former governor of Anambra
state, Peter Obi in Abuja, as his running
mate for the 2019 presidential elections.

Premium Times reports that Obi arrived at
Abubakar’s residence in Asokoro
neighborhood this afternoon and both had
undisclosed talks.
The former Anambra governor is broadly
speculated as the running mate to Atiku for
the 2019 general elections.
Several options have been suggested in the
public domain, with the candidate being
widely expected to choose from either the
southeast or southwest.

senator, Ben Murray-Bruce reports that
Atiku has settled for Obi.
