Search an officer first before he searches you - Police tells Nigerians

The Nigeria Police Force has enlightened

Nigerians on what to do whenever

they are accosted by police officers.

The police through its official Twitter

handle urged Nigerians to always request

to search officers who want to search

their houses or cars.

The police noted that the process is the

right procedure before a search operation

can be carried out by its personnel.

However, the police advice which has

gained much traction did not go well

with Nigerians.

Some Nigerians warned fellow citizens

not to take the advice due to impolite ways some will ask an officer,which may cause further case as regarding.. screenshot of tweet below..
